The AV industry is evolving fast. Systems are no longer just boxes connected by cables — they are intelligent, software-defined ecosystems that must be flexible, scalable, and easy to manage. To help AV professionals stay ahead of this shift, AudioLogic is hosting a dedicated Q-SYS Architect Training Session, delivered in a hybrid format – in person at AudioLogic HQ and live online via Teams.
This hands-on session will give attendees a practical understanding of how to design powerful, scalable AV systems using the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform. Whether you are new to Q-SYS or looking to deepen your design expertise, the session will provide real-world insight, best practice, and technical confidence.
Led by Matt from the AudioLogic team, with a Q-SYS representative attending in person, the training will cover core concepts, system architecture, design workflows, and application examples across corporate, education, and high-impact spaces.

What is Q-SYS Architect Training?
Q-SYS Architect Training is designed to help AV professionals understand how to design complete AV systems using the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform.
Rather than focusing on programming or commissioning, the Architect course concentrates on:
• Understanding the Q-SYS ecosystem • Learning core system architecture principles • Exploring centralised vs distributed design models • Designing meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and larger environments • Applying best practice to real-world scenarios
This makes it ideal for consultants, designers, specifiers, pre-sales engineers, and end users who need to understand how Q-SYS systems are structured and how they scale.
AudioLogic’s session follows this official framework, while adding local expertise, real examples, and open discussion.
What the Session Will Cover
The training will walk through key concepts from the Q-SYS Architect curriculum, including:
• Q-SYS Platform Overview – understanding the Full Stack AV approach • System Architecture & Signal Flow – how audio, video, and control are unified • Core Processing and I/O Models – appliance cores, server cores, and network I/O • Centralised vs Distributed Systems – choosing the right topology • Meeting Rooms & Collaboration Spaces – typical design workflows • Larger & High-Impact Spaces – lecture theatres, auditoriums, and all-hands areas • Networked AV Design – Q-LAN, Dante, AES67, and modern AV networking principles • User Control Concepts – how control interfaces fit into system design
The session is focused on how systems are designed in practice — not just theory. You will see how these principles apply to real projects and real environments.
