Shure Launches MXA925: AI-Powered Ceiling Array Microphone Now Available from Audiologic

05/06/2026

Shure has officially launched the MXA925 Ceiling Array Microphone and it's available to order from Audiologic right now.

The MXA925 is the next generation of Shure's hugely popular MXA920, one of the best-selling ceiling array microphones on the market. It keeps the familiar square and round form factors (with a new black finish option for square units), uses all the same mounting accessories, and fits seamlessly into existing Microflex Ecosystem installations — including the P300, ANIUSB-MATRIX, and Microflex Wireless neXt. For integrators, this means upgrade projects are straightforward, with no new mounting hardware required.

What's New?

The headline addition is on-board AI processing. The MXA925 brings Shure's AI Denoiser and AI Deverb directly onto the microphone itself — and crucially, it's the first microphone to market with an AI Acoustic Echo Canceller (AI AEC). Together, these tools tackle the real-world problems that make meeting rooms difficult: excessive reverberation, loudspeakers placed too close to the mic, background noise, and moving talkers. Voices simply come through more clearly, with less need for room tuning or ongoing support.

Importantly, the AI processing works entirely on-device. There is no internet connection required for audio processing, and no audio data is ever sent to Shure's servers.

IT teams will also welcome the improved network architecture. The MXA925 features a dual RJ45 interface, allowing audio and control traffic to be split across separate networks — a practical benefit for managed enterprise environments. Remote management, monitoring, and firmware updates are handled via ShureCloud, and the device supports 802.1x network security and Shure Audio Encryption. It is certified for both Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Pricing and Availability

The MXA925 is available to order now, and is slightly more cost-effective than the MXA920 it replaces. Contact your Audiologic account manager for pricing. An optional three-year extended warranty is also available.

MXA920 Discontinuation

The MXA920 will be discontinued on 1 September 2026. If you have active tenders or project specifications referencing the MXA920, Shure has prepared an official specification-change letter to support the transition — get in touch with us and we can help.
