Tech Tuesdays: Integrating AVIO adapters into conference environments

An additional USB endpoint for BYOD can be a costly exercise, especially when it is a supplement to an existing system. If already utilising a networked Dante solution within your meeting room, all of these problems can be easily solved. By adding one of the two new Audinate AVIO adapters into the system, AVIO-USB or AVIO-USB-C, depending on the USB format desired, you can add Dante USB input/output into the system in a matter of minutes.

As with the rest of the AVIO range, these devices require zero software installation beyond initial setup and can be used with any audio application for two-way audio. Once the Dante network is virtually patched during install, there is no need for reconfiguration for using different laptops.

To increase flexibility even further, these can be used with mobile devices so that your phone can integrate with the in-room conferencing system.

Within our portfolio, these two new AVIO adapters fit perfectly alongside our Shure and QSC Video Conferencing systems that already make use of the Dante network.

As always, if you have any questions relating to the Audinate AVIO adapters or any of our other products, feel free to get in touch with the team at either [email protected] or [email protected].
