Description
The Yamaha PY-DSP is an audio processing expansion card for compatible Yamaha digital mixing consoles. Installed in a PY slot, it adds 32 DSP resource slots arranged as two banks of 16 for Premium Rack plug-ins. On the DM5 series this enables Premium Rack processing, while on compatible DM7 systems it expands the processing resources available for Premium Effects. Its compact card format keeps the additional processing inside the console rather than relying on external hardware.
