Why the SLX-D+ Matters
The SLX-D has long been a trusted choice across corporate AV, education, and live events. The SLX-D+ takes that foundation and adds capabilities that address real-world pain points in professional installations.
ShowLink Ease is the standout addition. This two-way wireless link between transmitter and receiver automates RF setup and enables remote parameter adjustments — all without requiring physical access to the transmitter. Once paired, the transmitter reconnects automatically every time it powers on. For integrators managing installed systems across large venues or complex multi-room environments, this is a genuine time-saver.
Automatic interference management takes RF reliability further still. Should the system detect interference, it scans for a clean frequency and deploys it to both transmitter and receiver simultaneously — no user intervention required.
Performance Specifications
The SLX-D+ delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with a dynamic range exceeding 118 dB, alongside an expanded 138 MHz tuning range. Every unit ships with AES-256 encryption as standard — increasingly important for corporate and government installations where audio security is a requirement rather than an option.
Battery life extends to up to 8 hours from two AA batteries, with support for the optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeable as an alternative.
Flexible System Configurations
The SLX-D+ is available in a range of configurations to suit different project requirements: ½ rack single and dual receivers, full rack quad receivers (including a Dante-enabled variant), bodypack and handheld transmitters, plus portable receivers and plug-on transmitters for mobile applications.
