Yamaha has released ADECIA V3.0, a significant software update that enhances the flexibility, scalability and intelligence of its ADECIA conferencing ecosystem. Designed for modern meeting rooms, education spaces and hybrid collaboration environments, V3.0 introduces new tools that simplify setup while improving real-world audio performance.
Available now, the update applies to all existing and new RM-CR processors, allowing current ADECIA installations to benefit immediately without additional hardware.
Faster and Simpler Auto Voice Lift Configuration
A key highlight of ADECIA V3.0 is the new Auto Voice Lift configuration. Traditionally, voice lift systems can be complex and time-consuming to deploy, often requiring careful manual tuning to achieve natural reinforcement without feedback.
With V3.0, Yamaha streamlines this process. The new workflow enables voice lift systems to be configured in up to 90 minutes, with smaller spaces taking significantly less time. Recent demonstrations have shown how quickly compact rooms can be set up while maintaining consistent, intelligible results.
For integrators, this means reduced commissioning time and more predictable outcomes across projects. For end users, it delivers clear, natural speech reinforcement that enhances communication without drawing attention to the system itself.
Expanded Wireless Channel Capacity via Auto-mixdown
ADECIA V3.0 also delivers a major upgrade to wireless microphone handling. Through auto-mixdown within the RM-CR processor, the system now supports up to 64 wireless channels on a single processor — a substantial increase from the previous 16-channel limit.
